The First Deputy Mayor of Odessa Anatoliy Orlovskiy have paid a working visit to the sister city of Regensburg (Germany) on June 23, 2017.
 
The delegation from Odessa also included the Chief Architect of the City who is the Head of Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of Odessa City Council Alexander Golovanov, Director of the Department of International Relations Svetlana Boieva ​​and Chairman of the Malinovskaya District Administration of Odessa Yevgeniy Omelchuk.
 
Odessa delegation and the acting chief burgomaster Gertrud Maltz-Schwarzfischer have discussed the issues of providing humanitarian aid to Odessa medical institutions, transferring the snow-removing machine to our city and setting up a gift from Odessa - the tourist symbol "anchor-heart" in Regensburg.
 
The sides are also going to design and create "Regensburg alleys" in Odessa. The alleys are planned to be created with the use of "green" technologies. In addition, it is planned to hold in Odessa the photo exhibition dedicated to the Danube River.
 
There were additionally discussed the questions of joint development and cooperation with the sister city of Qingdao (PRC).
