This year Odessa celebrates the 20th anniversary of establishing sister-city’s relations with one of the largest business and shopping centres in the world - Istanbul.

The Istanbul Days in Odessa and opening of historical and socio-cultural sites after the restoration will take place in our city to mark this significant date.

The main festive events will be held in Odessa today, on May 26, 2017.

The military-ethnic brass band of the Republic of Turkey «Mehter» will take part in the celebrations.

The march of the orchestra will begin at 14:00 (Primorsky Boulevard, Dumskaya Square).

A gala concert on occasion of the opening of Istanbul Park will take place on Primorsky Boulevard (from 18.00).

The celebrations will end with festive fireworks (at 21:00) on the Potemkin Stairs.
