On February 6, 2017, the Mayor of Odessa Gennadiy Trukhanov met with representatives of the charity foundation «Limmud Ukraine».
The sides discussed a question of holding the eleventh conference «Limmud» in Odessa from October 19 to October 22, 2017.
The conference «Limmud» is an international Jewish cultural and educational event which includes lectures, trainings, master classes, discussions, meetings, concerts and other events.
«The conference Limmud has taken place in the different cities of Ukraine for 10 years and now we come back to Odessa again. A lot of participants from Ukraine, Europe and America will arrive. It will be a huge holiday filled with interesting and informative events. 800 people of the different age and statuses are planned to bring to Odessa », - chairman of the project «Limmud Ukraine» and executive director of the All-Ukrainian Jewish Congress Iosif Akselrud said.
