Celebration of the festival "Humorina-2016" took place at several locations, the main of which was the City Garden and the square near the monument to Duke de Richelieu, where the scene was set.

Odessa City Garden turned into one big creative open-air scene for 3 days.

During the Laughter Day citizens and visitors of Odessa enjoyed lots of interesting vocal, dance, circus and comedy numbers performed by soloists and creative collectives of Odessa as well as took part in various quests and flash mobs.

There also was a handmade fair and food court from leading restaurants and cafes of the city. Odessites prepared the cake "Odessa is the whole world" for the holiday. Odessa laughter festival in the City Garden lasted 3 days - 1, 2 and 3 of April.

On the stage near the monument to Duke de Richelieu during the day performed participants of the international festival of clowns and mimes "Komediada", group "Contraband", the duo «Non Stop», Alexey Ryabovolik, group «Jam Band» and ensemble "Slavs". Headliners of the event - group «Zdob si Zdub».

The Mayor of Odessa Gennadiy Trukhanov also attended the celebration of the Laughter Day in Odessa.

"Odessa has original kind of humor - humor with meaning. The sense of humor helped Odessites to cope with difficulties at all the times, so I sincerely congratulate everyone on the Laughter Day. I’d wish we had such sunny, happy and beautiful days as often as possible", - said Gennadiy Trukhanov.
