More than 1,000 displaced people in Odessa have received individual humanitarian support

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Conrad Pavlik and the city authorities of Odessa have agreed on the transfer of humanitarian assistance to social institutions in Odessa during his visit to Odessa in July 2015.
On December 16, 2015, on the eve of St. Nicholas Day, the Consul General of Poland in Odessa, Mr. Dariusz Szewczyk with representatives of religious charitable mission Caritas-spes, with the support of specialized structural units of Odessa City Council gave humanitarian assistance to internally displaced people.
More than 1,000 people living in the sanatorium "Kuyalnik" received individual assistance (based on survey about specific assistance needed by displaced persons). The food has also been transferred to resort.
Odessa authorities continue to negotiate with the Consulate General of Poland in Odessa on financing of department of the city hospital’s №3 repair.
Representatives of the diplomatic missions accredited in Odessa, in addition actively participated in fundraising for repairs and equipping facilities with modern equipment in Odessa Special School №75.
