The official meeting of Odessa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Mr. Linas Linkevičius was held in Odessa City council today, on August 14, 2015.

The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lithuania to Ukraine Mr. Marius Janukonis, Director of the Eastern Partnership policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania Jonas Grinevičius, Minister Plenipotentiary of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to Ukraine Mr. Jonas Daniliauskas, Adviser of Head at Public Information Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania Mr. Kestutis Vaskelevicius and Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in Odessa Ms. Elena Drutis.

The prospects of development of bilateral relations between Lithuania and Ukraine, and Odessa in particular, were discussed during the meeting. The sides also discussed the effectiveness of reforms in Ukraine on the example of Odessa.
