On June 2, 2015, in Odessa City Council was held XVI meeting of the Ukrainian-Lithuanian commission on trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation. Ukrainian delegation was headed by the Chairman of Ukrainian part of the Commission, Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Andriy Pivovarsky. Lithuanian delegation was headed by the Chairman of the Lithuanian part of the Commission, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania Evaldas Gustas.

Welcoming the participants of the meeting, the mayor of Odessa Gennadiy Trukhanov wished them fruitful work.
During the meeting the sides discussed issues of bilateral industry, trade, economic and investment cooperation. They also discussed issues of cooperation in the field of transport, energy, customs, agriculture, in the creation of information systems and cyber security.

At the end of the meeting the sides signed a protocol of XVI session of the intergovernmental Ukrainian-Lithuanian commission on trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation.

It was also held the ceremony of signing Memorandum on Cooperation between Odessa branch of the state enterprise "The administration of the seaports of Ukraine" (Odessa Sea Port Administration) and the state enterprise "The administration of the sea port of Klaipeda," The Republic of Lithuania.
