September 1, in Odessa took place celebrations of the Day of Knowledge. The Mayor of Odessa and deputy mayors visited schools, gave attention to children in kindergartens, boarding schools and the Center for Rehabilitation of physically challenged people.

Authorities of the city congratulated kids, pupils, caregivers and teachers with the new school year and presented gifts.
