Today the city of Odessa celebrates its 220th anniversary.
“No wonder that Odessa goes by the name “Mother”. Odessa respects its every habitant: protects, educates and helps to rise ones feet. At the same time, it takes care of the guests, generously demonstrating its architectural and cultural heritage and beautiful coastline.

Odessa has grown up many famous and talented people whose names sound all over the world. The city brought up Odessites as kind, responsive, friendly people; imparted the unique humor, educated to work and relax. For each of us it is the mother. We love Odessa. And it returns the feeling” – said the Mayor of Odessa Gennadiy Trukhanov.

The Mayor congratulated all the Odissites and wished them good health, successes, happiness and wellbeing, peace and harmony.
