A meeting with Israeli delegation was held in Odessa City Council on July 4, 2018.

80 representatives of local self-government of Jerusalem and Kiryat Ata paid a visit to Odessa.

The theme of the meeting with representatives of the municipalities of Israel was discussion the issues of city management.

Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Odessa City Council Aliona Dyachenko presented the guests the tourist potential of the city. The guests have also learned about the most important events and festivals that take place in Odessa.

"Odessa in total has 15 twin cities and 23 partner cities. In 1992, twinning relations were established with Haifa, where, as in Istanbul, Piraeus and Marseille, is planned to establish a tourist symbol of Odessa "Anchor Heart". In addition, in Odessa are going to create gardens in honor of Haifa and the other transportation tourist spots. Odessa develops as a year-round tourism city and is always ready to support tourists," noted Aliona Dyachenko.

Representatives of the municipalities of Jerusalem and Kiryat Ata expressed gratitude for the opportunity to share experience in the field of city management.
