On June 11, 2018 in Odessa City Hall was held a working meeting of representatives of the City Council and the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Ukraine.

 
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Ukraine Lee Yang-Gu, Vice Mayor of Odessa Pavel Vugelman, Director of the Department of International Relations Svetlana Boieva and Director of «Odessa Development Programs Agency» Oleksandra Oleynikova attended the meeting.

The sides have discussed issues of comprehensive cooperation, including the possibility of opening a consulate of the Republic of Korea in Odessa.
