Today, on June 7, 2018, the First Deputy Mayor of Odessa, Anatoliy Orlovskiy is on a working visit to Estonia.
The meeting with Tallinn's vice-mayor Kalle Klandorf took place during Odessa’s delegation visit to the sister city of Tallinn.
Within the framework of the meeting the sides have discussed a number of interesting issues: the system of organization of city authorities’ work, the functioning of public transport and municipal police, provision of high-level water supply, water treatment and the other public services, as well as creation of thematic green zones. It was also discussed the possibility of creation an Estonian park in Odessa with the installation of a bench from Tallinn, as well as the transfer of a tourist symbol of Odessa - "Anchor Heart" to Tallinn and the possibility of cooperation between opera theaters.
In addition, there was held a meeting with Kadriorg Ain Järve, director of the largest park in Tallinn, during which the Odessa delegation got acquainted with ideas of beautifying green areas by the example of the park, and also studied the experience of organizing flower festivals. Within the framework of this meeting there was also discussed the possibility of Odessa's participation in the Tallinn Flower Festival - 2019.
Today, Odessa delegation also plans to visit the Tallinn waste recycling center and get acquainted with the experience of garbage processing.
