On June 4, 2018 a working meeting on the development of tourism with the participation of guests from Switzerland - students of the University of Applied Science (the HTW in Chur) was held in the Department of Culture and Tourism of Odessa City Council. Young people are participants of the project of development of tourist business and cooperation between cities and countries.

Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism held a presentation of tourist Odessa, telling about various directions of tourism development.

According to the Swiss guests, Odessa has a great potential for development. The students intend to study how the local tourist business affects the social and economic development of the city.

During the meeting, were also discussed the issues of further cooperation and was outlined a joint work plan.
