Today, on June 1, 2018, within the framework of the Ukrainian-Chinese Forum, a working meeting of the city's leadership and members of Odessa Mayor’s investment council with delegation of the People's Republic of China was held in Odessa City Council. The Mayor of Odessa Gennadiy Trukhanov, the head of the delegation of the People’s Republic of China Mr. He Zhenwei and the head of the investment council Valery Lokaychuk, greeted the gathered in the hall.

As the mayor noted, Odessa actively develops friendly relations and cooperation with 23 sister cities and 15 partner cities located in Europe, America and Asia.

"Odessa by right can be called one of the main economic centers of Ukraine, as well as one of the most attractive for business cities with a long tradition of entrepreneurship. Further expansion of international cooperation and maintaining the image of the city as a reliable partner is our priority in foreign economic activity," said Gennadiy Trukhanov.

During the meeting, the members of the Chinese delegation got acquainted with the Strategy of social and economic development of the city - "Odessa 5T".

Projects "Odessa - a city of year-round visiting" and "Tourist potential of Odessa" were also presented.
As Mr. He Zhenwai noted, members of the Chinese delegation have already appreciated the beauty and affability of Odessa.
