On May 18, 2018 in the courtyard of Utesov’s Museum-Apartment was held the opening of the sculptural composition "Odessa grandmother". This event was held as part of the celebration of Europe Day.

On a warm May evening, Odessa melodies and songs were performed by the Dixieland of the Odessa Salik’s Municipal Theater of Brass Music and laureate of international competitions Vitaliy Chervonyi.
