In February 2018, the Mayor of Odessa Gennadiy Trukhanov has visited the transport enterprise "Kvazar Plus s.r.o" (Czech Republic). Odessa cooperates with this company in the field of tram and trolleybus systems’ modernization, as well as purchases new bodies of tramcars and control systems.

Today, on March 15, 2018, the Mayor of Odessa Gennadiy Trukhanov met with director of the Czech company "Kvazar Plus s.r.o" Miloslav Černý, who is in Odessa on a working visit.

During the meeting, the sides continued their discussion of cooperation in the transport sphere. In particular, Miloslav Cerny came to Odessa to be aware of production capacities of Odessa municipal enterprise for organization of joint production of tramcars.

"Today Odessa actively works in direction of municipal electric transport development. The experience of leading enterprises working in this field is important for us. The opening of a joint enterprise in Odessa will be another step in development of the transport facilities of the city, and provide creation of new working positions", stressed Gennadiy Trukhanov.
