Last week in Odessa was presented the company Bulgaria Air (Bulgarian Airlines), which had opened direct flight "Odessa-Sofia".
Consul General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Odessa Dimitar Tuchkov at the presentation noted the importance of opening flights that will connect Ukraine and Bulgaria for tourists and business.

Director of Odessa International Airport said that it was selected the most convenient time for Bulgarian airlines - evening flights on Friday and Sunday.
Director of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine stressed that Odessa was the first city in the country where the flights of these Bulgarian airlines were opened, and made a proposition on development of joint packages of tours by Ukraine and Bulgaria for foreign tourists.

Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Odessa made an official offer to Bulgarian tour operators and journalists to take part in a press tour organized by the city council in Odessa.

As the commercial director of Bulgarian airlines reported, the flight time from Odessa to Sofia lasts 1 hour 10 minutes. In summer season, flights to Varna and Burgas are also planned to be launched. If the circumstances require, the number of flights will be increased.
