On January 23, 2018 the mayor of Odessa Gennadiy Trukhanov met with the President of Association of Mayors of Greek cities, George Patulis. During the dialogue, the sides have discussed the issues related to the policy of decentralization in Ukraine, progress and further steps in this area. Mr. Patulis spoke about the Greek experience in this matter.
  

During the meeting were also discussed the issues of development of economic relations between Odessa and the cities of Greece. The mayor of Odessa Mayor has presented the investment strategy "Odessa 5T" and the projects developed within the framework of this strategy.  

"Already today the Greek side sees for itself a perspective in development of the strategy we have presented. This year in March we plan to hold in Odessa a conference on medical tourism with participation of representatives of Greek municipalities and potential investors in the tourist infrastructure of our city", - commented Gennadiy Trukhanov.
