The meeting with the Deputy Minister of Economy and Development of Greece, Mr. Stergios Pitsiorlas was held within the framework of official visit of Odessa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov to Greece. During the meeting, Gennadiy Trukhanov has presented development strategy of our city and developed investment projects, including a plan for the sustainable development of urban transport, airport development, e-ticket, thematic parks of sister cities and the others.

"Odessa by right can be considered the center of the transport interchange not only of Ukraine, but also of international routes of communication. The issues of successful functioning and development of the transport complex are topical and priority for our city. And the experience of our international friends is important to us", - said Gennadiy Trukhanov.

The Deputy Minister shared his experience in the development of airports and seaports in Greece, the practice of attracting foreign investment, as well as crisis management in the midst of an economic crisis.

"An important aspect of economic relations between Greece and Ukraine are strong ties between sister cities. The economic potential of Odessa is huge, and the city should become stronger economic center and one of the main ports of the Black Sea", - Mr. Pitsiorlas stressed.
