Gathering of the unique materials never having been published before about burials of Odessa’s first cemetery (1880 - 1930), that have been destroyed in the mid-1930’s featuring photos of the burial chambers and tombstones, biographical data on Odessa’s prominent citizens having been buried here. The edition featured data on the family burial chambers of Albrands, Anatras, Bakoshs, Bistroms, Kazarinovs, Novikovs, Orlay de Carvos, Pankeevs, Posokhovs, Pototskiys, de Roccos, Russovs, Sanzenbachers, Fon-Visins, Schultzs and Schreters, Shiryayevs, Yurgevichs, Yalovikovs, tombs of Franz Boffo, Felix de Ribas, Franz Morandi, general Radetskiy, count Razumovskiy, count Stroganov, general Sabaneev, count Ribopierre, city head Semen Yakhnenko, “Tiger” frigate steamship captain Gifforde, the first English council in Odessa James and of many other persons of the native history having delivered fame and glory to Odessa.
