The IV Charitable Diplomatic Christmas Fair took place in Odessa.

December 13, 2014 the Mayor of Odessa Gennady Truhanov visited the IV diplomatic charity Christmas fair. The fair was held in Odessa on 13 and 14 of December. The fair was attended by the members of more than 20 general and honorary consulates accredited in Odessa, as well as national cultural centers, the communities, the Diaspora and the Missions of the European Union Border Assistance to Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova.

The Mayor of Odessa Gennadiy Trukhanov warmly welcomed the participants of the fair and expressed appreciation to the representatives of diplomatic corps for the initiative taken 4 years ago and constantly supported by them for all these years.

"Odessa is a cosmopolitan city, which has been built thanks to charitable contributions. Many monuments and historical sites were created there as gifts for the city. It is gratifying to realize that traditions of philanthropy and charity are not forgotten over the years, and this diplomatic Fair has become an annual Christmas present for the citizens of Odessa ", - pointed the mayor.

According to organizers, all the funds raised during the fair will be used to buy medical equipment for the medical institutions of Odessa and Odessa region - in particular, the medical compressors for intensive care sector for the newborn and premature babies of Odessa Regional Children's Hospital.
