Odessa Light Fest is a massive event which will become a new bright identity of Odessa. During the festival, Ukrainian artists, animators, designers will create a lot of visual and multimedia objects, which will present the entire volume of innovation and technical potential of Ukraine in a single project.
On August 5, 2015, in Odessa City Council was held a briefing with representatives of the city authorities and the organizers of the festival Odessa Light Fest.
For the festival were selected architectural objects that are expressive, recognizable both for inhabitants of Odessa and guests of the city: Primorsky Boulevard, Potemkin Stairs, Opera and Ballet Theatre, Colonnade, Odessa sea port, Quarantine arcade with the Powder Tower, City Council.
The competition program of the festival will be held on the theme "The intersection of civilizations." It includes competition by the categories: young designers, companies, brands in various areas, and the other.
International festival of light – is a light interactive show and one of the most spectacular events in the world. Similar festivals are held in cities such as Amsterdam (Netherlands), Berlin (Germany), Sydney (Australia) and many others.
In Ukraine the festival of light and media art will be held for the first time in Odessa.
The festival will be held in Odessa on October 16-18.
