“Madam Odessa” contest was founded by “Athena” women’s social organization. The contest is an annual one and is dated for the International Women’s Day – March 8.

Any female citizen of Odessa can take part in it regardless of age, height, weight and profession – if only she’s got the «Madame» status.

The finalists are chosen according to their sense of humor, behavior on the stage and Odessa vividness. The contest tasks give the participants a chance to demonstrate their fantasy, wit and talents, which are the main streaks of Odessa citizens.

After summing up the results of the contest, each finalist gets her own nomination and prize. On top of that, the sponsors of the contest will provide special awards, and the audience will define “Madam Sympathy”.


The Contest will take place on March 5, 2015, in Ukrainian V. Vasylko Drama Theater.
