In order to draw attention to the problem of climate change all over the world, as a sign of indifference to the future of the planet, the World Wide Fund for Nature WWF annually calls to turn off the light and household appliances for one hour as part of the "Earth Hour" action. The purpose of the action is to pay attention to environmental problems and excessive consumption of natural resources.
In the current year, this traditional action will be held on March 24 from 20:30 to 21:30. This year's campaign theme is Connect2Earth. Odessa also plans to join the action. This day for an hour will be turned off the lighting illuminations and facades of buildings in the city center.
