Fitch Affirms Ukrainian City of Odessa at B- with Stable Outlook

The rating allows to save significant funds for the EBRD loan received for updating the trolleybus park of Odessa

On January 25, 2019, the International Rating Agency Fitch has affirmed the Ukrainian City of Odessa's Long-Term Foreign- and Local-Currency Issuer Default Ratings (IDRs) at 'B-'. The Outlooks are Stable.

“As it was last time, we are limited now by the sovereign ratings of Ukraine (B- / Stable / B). But already today, the Fitch Ratings rating makes it possible to save significant funds under the loan of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development received for updating the trolleybus park in Odessa. We plan that this amount will be from 60 to 80 thousand Euros per year,” commented Sergiy Tetyukhin, Director of the Department of Economic Development of Odessa City Council.
